CULTIVATE PEOPLE
Hi people, I recently came across a famous chinese proverb. It really appealed me and I thought of sharing it with all of you. It says:
If your vision is one year, cultivate flowers. If you vision is ten years, cultivate trees. If your vision is eternity, cultivate people.
Now what is the meaning of cultivating people.
Of all the creatures in the world, humans are the least equipped. I mean to say that a human can not run like a tiger, neither he is as powerful as an elephant, nor he can fly like a bird, nor he can swim like a fish. Mind you, physically humans are very weak. They are helpless in front of most of the animals. Even a tiny insect can kill them. But what humans have got in them is a strong mind. Humans are able to think. Humans create their own environment while animals adapt to their environment.
But it is sad to note that very few people use their greatest gift by nature, i.e., their ability to think to the full potential. If all the people in the world can become reasonable in their action, and kind and calculated in their thoughts, then this world would really become a far more better place to live. So, I think, this a good example of how to CULTIVATE PEOPLE.
